Only way you stop Weyer is put a 6'9 or taller kid on him and block every shot.

This thread is stupid as good players get pitted against one another.

I can tell you that being down here the ENTIRE state knows about Weyer and loves his game.

He has the best hands and arm length that I can remember. He is one of the best big man shooters in a while. He rebounds STRONG.

Enjoy his game. Leave it at that.

That's what I said, and why he is playing at Bellarmine and not Xavier, UK, Louisville, Western Ky., etc. He's a good high school player. Goodin is a spectacular high school player as is Sloan.

Your little D2 player is playing in the final four of state and the big D1 players are going home. If you are big time D1 you shouldn't lose. Wow

I heard from a reliable source that you need a steady supply of kryptonite

Goodin is big-time Division I. Weyer is Division II because his lack of quickness and athletic ability to guard D-1 players. No lateral quickness in D-1 will get you plenty of bench time when you're 6-7. He will be fine at Bellarmine. Maybe he can transfer to NKU after a couple of years. Oh, I forgot...they stopped recruiting him. lol

That is why this is a forum. It's a good thread to discuss players.

Way to show some class!!!

You have bragged about Goodin beyond belief, rather than being mature when his team is eliminated, you choose to take a cheap shot at a HS teenager.

At least your colors show through bright and clear on my hand held device.

I have watched enough NKU games to confidently say that he would contribute for them. He will star at Bellarmine.

I too have watched a lot of NKU games this year and I feel like Bellarmine could still beat them

Weyer is a fantastic player and will have a great college career as long as he stays healthy. I'm also a big Xavier fan and I hope Goodin has a great career

Weyer would definitely contribute at NKU if he went there, He is a D-1 talent and could play in alot of the smaller D1 leagues. The Schulte ? kid from NCC plays D-1 and he is not near as skilled as Weyer.

I think Coach Brannen wishes he didn't rescind the offer. Sounds like he had shown a lot of interest in Ben lately.

How did he show interest when Weyer has already signed? That would be a violation.

The truth hurts, right? He is D-2. Accept it. I didn't say he isn't a good high school player. I said he is a D-2 player. lol

Just because he is going to Bellarmine doesnt mean he doesnt have D1 talent, Bellarmine has other kids that could have gone D1 in the past 10 years that decided to play there.
