Rubio bows out — now what?

AP just flashed an alert on my phone.

How's this going to change things?

Trump vs Cruz, with Trump rounding 2nd base, Cruz just touched first base.

It's going to get good now!

The established will be in full attack mode from this point on.

I'm not sure Trump's attacks of Kasich will be as well received. Secondly, we now get down to three and full barrage of REAL questions, which hurts BIG DONALD.

Kasich has won one state, he has miles to go.

I'm not sure Trump wants him out. It may be best to leave Kasich alone.

There is no one in the race to talk about hands and other things. All that's left are real topics. Not good for Trump. When he speaks of real issues he struggles. Hard to debate that.

I think you are right. Trump might have been secretly hoping that Kasich stayed in. Rubio's campaign has already said they want their supporters to go to Cruz now.

That is a good point Tex. If Kasich drops, Trump could very well go to the convention more even in delegates. With Kasich in till the end, Trump should have a clear lead in delegates at convention time. That convention is going to be a total mess. I don't see how Trump, Cruz or Kasich get the win if all battle it out. Best bet is Kasich becomes Trump's VP and sends his delegates over to him. Cruz is so disliked I don't see any way he can get the win.

With the race now down to 3 hopefully there will be some substance discussed instead of name calling and nonsense. Trump can't continue to say, "I'm going to surround myself with the best people in every area and we will make this nation great again....blah, blah, blah"

How about getting down to the nuts and bolts of How and WHAT you're going to do? Let's have some details.

Kasich said there's 1000 delagates left. If thats true and Trump wins out tonight minus Ohio, he clearly has the best chance to get to the magic number.

Based on Hillary's victory speech tonight she all but named Trump as the gop winner.

Voice of Reason,

Cruz might be the most hated in the whole group. He could never get anything done with the democrats with all the animosity already in place.

Trump was only 90 delegates ahead of Cruz heading into tonight. Of, with winner take all, Trump got a big boost in tonight's primaries.

I agree. It isn't just Dems. A lot of Republicans hate him too.

Dream On.....

I've been waiting for over 30 years for a candidate to tell me the How of the What they plan on doing...I'm guessing we I'll be waiting another 30 years before a candidate from any party tells us HOW they are going to do what they say.

You're asking an awful lot, Prof.
