March 16, 201610 yr The funny thing (and I mean laugh out loud funny) is that when this primary season started, the R's had 17 candidates. If you asked the R establishment to rate the candidates in order of who it liked, Cruz and Trump would have been 16th and 17th...and now it is fairly certain one of them is going to be the nominee...unless the R's take a suicide pill and mess with the convention to cheat them both... I love seeing the R establishment in full panic mode. For some of them to now want Cruz to win just shows how messed up they are. They HATE Cruz! And this...even extremely rich folks don't like spending hundreds of millions of dollars with NOTHING to show for it:lol2:

March 16, 201610 yr That is a good point Tex. If Kasich drops, Trump could very well go to the convention more even in delegates. With Kasich in till the end, Trump should have a clear lead in delegates at convention time. That convention is going to be a total mess. I don't see how Trump, Cruz or Kasich get the win if all battle it out. Best bet is Kasich becomes Trump's VP and sends his delegates over to him. Cruz is so disliked I don't see any way he can get the win. Kasich is staying in because it will only help Trump in the end and in turn Trump makes Kasich his VP candidate.

It could be but with Trump it makes it really complicated. That's Trumps quasi home state as well whith all the money he spent down there. I think he'll be able to recover.
