March 9, 201610 yr I am behind Trump 100% I voted for him this past wsekend. I don't care about his past relationships or donations. He's a businessman, of course he's going to give to whoever will help put more change in his pocket. He also, like it or not, is saying what a lot of people are thinking. He is no more morally/ethically corrupt than any single politician. People want a change from the current set up we have on capital hill and he's saying all the things people like me want to hear
March 9, 201610 yr Indications are Kasich is closing fast. If he gets at least second tonight in Michigan and is within reach of Trump, it could be the turn in the race Kasich has been preaching about. That sets the stage for Kasich to win Ohio and become the candidate with momentum. Well, so much for THAT theory. Not entirely. Kasich showed he has momentum but not as much as hoped for and probably not enough to become a legitimate contender. Obviously it is all about Ohio and March 15th now for Kasich.
March 9, 201610 yr I'm guessing if Trump wins Florida and Ohio the gop elite/establishment/losers will either join the Trump show or they will start their own party. Republican's aren't flocking like sheep to vote for the same old blueblood career politicians, and they just cant except that. Bernie is having similar affect to the Dems, if he wasn't a socialist, he would have already won the nomination.
March 9, 201610 yr It's amazing that once you go after Trump you kill your campaign. Rubio is the latest victim. Wonder how he'd be doing without his sideshow the past 3 weeks? His little comedy routine effectively ended him. Not saying he would have won anyway but it put an end to any feint hopes.

Sanders(only if "evil witch" has a stroke or is sent to the pokey) 5. Cruz ( will not get more delegates than Trump and will never get the nod at a brokered convention)
March 9, 201610 yr Rubio may have gone overboard but I think his strategy was right. At this point Trump has so much momentum it is going to take negative attacks to derail him. Even with Trump's terrible debate performance and all the negative attacks the impact was minimal when you look at last night's results. Kasich needs Rubio and the PACs to keep attacking Trump to win Ohio.

March 13, 201610 yr Those wishing to derail the Trump Train missed their chance in the previous debates. Instead of letting the moderators lead them into school yard fights with loaded questions, all they needed to do was calmly put Trump on the defensive by asking him to articulate his position on a variety of topics. To date he has been forced to say little of substance as to how he would execute some of the ideas that he has put out. Whether it's jobs, trade, immigration or picking out a new China Pattern for the White House...he has rarely been called to explain HOW he would do it. Now the danger of that is, if he could articulate how he would accomplish some of what he has said he would do...then he would actually increase his lead. But to this point he's had to say so little of substance about his policies, it's crazy. But when Rubio or Cruz started trying to verbally take jabs at him, it played right into his game.
