Region 5, 7, 8, or 10???

No disrespect to either South Oldham or Anderson County, but I think the atmosphere for the St. X-Trinity game will be hard to match. Plus, and again with no disrespect, I think Trinity and St. X are generally be considered a better pair of teams than South Oldham and Anderson County. That said, however, you never know which game will be better. Both should be fun.

It would be better at a better facility. No offense to the host.

Totally agree with that. It makes little sense to me that a Seventh Region tournament is not held at a Seventh Region site. Plus, as All Tell spells out above, the traffic, parking, ticket buying, concessions and restrooms are all a disaster. But other than that its a great place to have the Seventh Region tournament.

I feel good about going to watch newport central catholic win the 9th last night and want a game with good players, good atmosphere, and a classic game tonight. Which one of these do u think will be the best;

5th Taylor County vs Bardstown

7th Trinity vs St X

8th South Oldham vs Anderson County

10th Augusta vs Mason County

I want to see this Augusta team everyone is talking about. I love the small town story but Montgomery county is so far away I dont want to make that drive. Its a good 2 hours.

Help a brother out.

Hard to go against Augusta/Mason...BUT, if that's too far to drive I say AC/SO at the Roy. Two good, evenly matched teams (disregard an AC blowout win a few weeks ago), GREAT old facility (best one of this group), what should be a good sized crowd...atmosphere will be electric I guarantee. If 10th region is out of the question for you, then I think there isn't any questions you should be at the 8th tonight.

I'd go to the 10th if I didn't have my kids tonight.

I just got to Henry County. Hope its a close game with a good atmosphere. Havent seen AC yet this yr.

Never been to or heard of Augusta before this season but Im hoping I can see them next week @ Rupp. It would be a great story.

I got my catholic school-fix last nite with Cov Cath and NCC so no Trinity vs St X. And no Taylor County and Goodin bcos I expect to see them next week.

Everyone enjoy the games tonight wherever ur @!

Agree! JCPS did a terrible job with amenities within that gym. Seats 3000, but bathrooms and concessions can only handle maybe 500. Have plenty of room outside the structure to add on more bathrooms and concessions. Line at the concession stand is right at the entrance, causing a major bottle neck to get into the gym itself. Had an altercation between a coach and a security guard last year in the L.I.T. that stemmed from the poor layout.

I was at NKU last night and just got to my seat in New Castle.

7th or 10th will both be awesome. 7th is year in and year out one of the best regions. Of course Taylor has one of the top players in the state in Goodin in the 5th game. They have another good player, too.

You missed a whale of a performance by Goodin tonight.

Ya, I picked the blowout game. But I had no real rooting interest so it was all good. I bet I saw the most dominating team performance. Largest margin of victory in an 8th region tourney since 1933, so thats something....I guess

Hope none of my hometown folks from Warsaw gave you any trouble …
