I am not going to get into a ref-bashing session on this one, but I am thinking one of the mentioned officials might have overreacted a tad if this is accurate. My concern as a former coach is how they knew .8 seconds were left. I know there was no instant replay, so the question would be which ref saw the clock and how did he arrive at .8?

If that description is correct, the officials might have some explaining to do tomorrow. It is a good thing it did not change the outcome of the game, or this would have really been an issue!

As long as one official looked up at the time of the T and saw 0.8 then it's legit.

No skin in the game. Game was over. No one saw the clock. Act like you've been there before and there is no discussion. Glad outcome wasn't impacted. Reminded me of a bw3 commercial to keep the game going, but without the wings, beer and TV....

There's blindly backing ref's and then there is this. No justification at all for a T to be called. Completely ridiculous.

The referring was not very good to say the least. As far as the game goes, it was very competitive. Both teams played extremely hard. Congrats to the Bearcats and good luck Friday vs SK.
