Dad of the player who got the T came to the floor to get after the official.

 

Player who got T'd was in front of the Grant student section popping his jersey in a taunting manner.

I did not see the father of the player come on the floor. Another man came towards the floor and the police responded. That man was not a relative of the player who got the technical.

I saw said father get warned by the lead official and where I was sitting he definitely did come down from the stands. I thought he was kicked out of the game.

Regardless of our opinions, the official has not been disciplined as of today. I see no justification for calling a technical foul in that situation. You are not supposed to play a role in a game's outcome if you are a good official. Thankfully, his lack of judgment did not cost Walton a win.
