Terrible call with no time left to send Blair to line for free throws. Replay showed no foul.

So PCC hit two freebies for the win ?

I've been seeing a lot of drama on social media saying there was a terrible call at the end that determined the game.

From what I saw it was a phantom call. Looked like the ref anticipated the call. Big FT's for Blair though in that situation.

Called a foul with 0.6 left in a tie game. Blair makes first game over. Wasnt even close to a foul. Plus a terrible charge call on Frazier with a minute to go. Pretty much Hazard got robbed, and i have no dog in this fight.

I agree. Two Hazard players went up to block Blair's shot and Blair wasn't touched, and his momentum carried him out of bounds toward the TV camera. What happened was one of the Hazard players knocked the other Hazard player sideways on their joint attempt to stop Blair's shot. On the replay the tv guy said the only foul was Hazard fouling Hazard, which as we know doesn't count as a foul.

Regardless, Blair went to the line and hit 1 of 2 to win the game.

Great overtime game but one hates to see a game decided that way.

The Frazier charge was a charge. He lowered his shoulder and made the contact. If you want to argue calls all night there was a million that could have went either way. Toblers 3rd and 4th fouls were horrible calls. Frazier smacked Blair right across the arm as well as Johnson who fouled him all the way to the point of the shot. This was a tough game to call. It was very physical and hazards Johnson could have been called for an offensive foul every trip down the floor. You could replay the game an pick out a million calls that could go either way.

Any video?

I wouldn't have called the foul at the end of the game but I wouldn't have called the foul on perry when perry was at the free throw line and Blair missed the free throw and tipped it to Dunn from perry and Dunn laid it in and then the ref called a bad foul And dexter made three terrible calls at the end of regulation or perry would have won in regulation

That's exactly correct hitter. Multiple calls could have went either way. I know all these kids from both teams and it's a shame either had to lose but to start the foolishness about the officiating is nonsense.

Yes there is video it was on WYMT live, Like I said I have no dog in this fight what so ever, this is a completely unbiased opinon. You perry guys can say what you want but the video on the last play is un debatable, and IMO the charge call as well.

Sure, there were debatable calls made here and there throughout the game, judgement calls, that occur in all games. But to make that foul call with less than a second on the clock in a tied overtime game is one that should have been a no doubter. But the replay clearly showed no foul imo.. I agree with an above post that I believe he anticipated a foul that didn't materialize and once he made it there was no turning back.

It didn't matter who won the game as far as I'm concerned. I'm a fan of another 14th region school. Like another poster said, I have no dog in this fight.

Two very good teams, though. It's sad only one of them can make regional play due to a no seeding policy in the 54th district.

Is this district seeded by a draw or by season results?
