February 22, 201610 yr Does anyone know why Sableux in Crestview Hills is closed? Wife has over $300 in gift certificates and found out from someone the other day that a sign on door says they are closed. Hopefully just a building issue (maintenance) and not a company issue.
February 22, 201610 yr I too plan on selling a lot of gift certificates, then closing my doors before they can be redeemed. Joking aside...I hope, for your sake, it is only temporary.
February 22, 201610 yr Wow..Their website is under maintenance and their FB page isn't accessible. Doesn't look good!
February 22, 201610 yr Here's what I gathered. Original owners were a husband and wife. Both died. Son took over. Water company told them the water was being shut off if they didn't pay their past due bills. Owners said screw it and locked the place up. No warning to employees.

February 22, 201610 yr Guess that's the scary thing about getting gift cards or certificates for places that aren't chains.
February 22, 201610 yr I treated my wife to a mani and pedi there for her birthday last year. We thought it was odd when she was given a manicure by a hair dresser who said he does not do nails (said it several times). The result was fine but the experience was very strange.
February 22, 201610 yr If any of your lady friends are in need a a hair dresser I know a pretty good one in that general area.
February 23, 201610 yr Gift Certificates are good at Bleux Water. There is an article at WCPO about this.
