Has there ever been a CCH/HHS game with less fanfare than this one?

 

Starts at 3:30 and I bet most fans don't know there's a game.

 

CCH will present state champ rings to the soccer team before the game.

 

JV at 2:00.

Yeah, it being a day game, nice weather, HHS having a bad season, I would have predicted a low turnout, but the Soccer team ceremony and their families will add to the crowd.

 

Just two teams going in opposite directions leads to apathy on both sides.

Although behind the scenes I have heard that HHS was none too pleased with the game time change considering they had the game last night.

Considering Highlands plays Mon. night in district they should not have scheduled a Sat game anyway.

I don't think there has been much fanfare for this game in awhile as Highlands hasn't been a Regional threat in a long time. This may be the worst though...hopefully people show up for the soccer team at least.

Highlands could not beat Beechwood. Not sure how they would come within 15-20 of CovCath.

Why have things changed so much for the Highlands basketball program? Admittedly, I don't follow it very closely being an 8th Region person, but I remember the days of Coach Ken Shields and Highlands was one of the best programs in the state. Is it an enrollment issue? A coaching problem? What gives?

Yeah State Semis in football and state runner up in Baseball last spring. A couple Cross Country State Championships... they should just shut down all sports programs. Lol

I was going to mention Baseball. but you beat me to it. Softball ought to pack it in as well. Region runner up last year.
