Where Do You Like To Sit When Eating Out?

Let's say that you and one other (not a group) aren't in a real fancy spot, maybe a chain (Applebee's, Flip Daddy's, BW3's) or really any Bar/Grill/Tavern...where do you prefer to sit?

I personally almost always prefer to sit at the bar. Usually get better/quicker service. Typically don't have to wait to be seated elsewhere. Usually a better view of the TV for a casual check of game scores.

 

I'm glad my fiance has come around on this idea. We typically will always sit at the bar if we have the chance. Granted, we don't typically go to fancier places haha!

I prefer a booth where, to me, the seating is usually more comfortable. I don't like sitting in hard chairs for a long time, and bar chairs are absolutely the most uncomfortable thing in the world for me. They just don't fit right.

Most of the time a booth, but the girlfriend and I have made it a habit lately of sitting in the bar area when there is a long wait. Rather than wait 45 minutes for a table, you can go grab any seat at the bar and order immediately. I'm surprised more people don't realize this.

Prefer a booth with back to a wall or corner area so I can see the majority of open space. Can't stand having my back to most of the patrons around.

 

The bar is good with just two people, more than that, its kind of awkward.

If it's not a booth I would prefer a high top table.

I like regular tables, hate the high tops with stools. No back support.

 

If I'm eating sushi, I'll sit at the Sushi Bar. If I'm out to eat alone, I'll always sit at the Bar.
