Sounds just as good any.

Lets talk about which regions will be the most fun and competitive. Of course the 11th is top heavy with 3 of the top 6or 7 in the state, scott county, Dunbar, and Henry clay. The winner there will deff earn it. The 9th should come to the two Catholic schools. NCC and Cov Cath. I would like to see Weyer make it but cov Cath has too much and are a year a way from being the clear state favorite. The 6th year will be fun with doss and Bullitt east. usually the 6th takes a backseat to the 7th but not this yr. Either team could win 6th and make a nice run. In the 7th I have a feeling its Male's year but trinity or ballard at could take it, or st. X.

The one region final I have to check out will be if Owen County meets up with south Oldham @ henry county. Never been to a game down there.

I hope the schedule works out so I can check out at least 2 or 3.

There's several regions where the picks are tough. Starting with the 1st with Tilghman and Murray. Christian is a clear favorite in the 2nd.The 3rd is difficult too, with Daviess, Owensboro Catholic, Owensboro and maybe Muhlenberg. Bowling Green is a clear choice in the 4th. The 5th has Taylor and North Hardin with Bardstown always a threat. The Jefferson regions are always competitive. I chose Doss in the 6th and Trinity in the 7th but it's always difficult picking a winner in those regions.. The 8th has Owen County and all the Oldham schools. I agree that I believe the 9th is CovCath's. The 10th has Mason, Montgomery, Campbell, and Brossart all bunched together. The 11th is loaded, almost a state tournament in itself. I picked Mercer in the 12th but they have very little wiggle room with Southwestern, even though SW lost their last game at Somerset in a head scratcher.. The 13th will probably come down to the Laurel schools. Clay is in the picture and possibly Harlan County but both have been inconsistent. Perry is my pick in my home region, the 14th, but since Hazard picked up the Frazier kid from OBI in January they have become a serious threat to Perry. Those two play in the first round of their unseeded district at Leslie, so one will be going home early. Letcher is another team that is a possible upset threat. The 15th is probably Lawrence County. The 16th is another tough one. All those school have beaten one another back and forth all year. I chose Elliott but Morgan, West Carter, or Rowan could win it too. Not much difference in those teams according to their season scores. I hope Morgan wins because I know it would make my friend Goldie happy.

Due to the one and done nature of tournaments and we are dealing with kids I think I can narrow it down to 2 teams in each region. I really struggled with the 11th and 7th.

3. Daviess and Owen

4. BG and Barren

5. N.Hardin and Taylor

7. Ballard and Trinity

8. Oldham and Owen

9. CovCath and NCC

10. Campbell and Mason

11. Henry Clay and Dunbar

12. Southwestern and Mercer

13. South Laurel and Clay

Wow. Did not know that about Hazard and PCC. I HATE that. I wish all districts were seeded. Those are probably the top 2 teams in the 14th aren't they?

Yes, Perry and Hazard are the top 2 teams in the region. Perry defeated Hazard in overtime about two weeks ago at Perry. Hazard actually led for most of the game. Perry hit 13 for 25 three pointer for the game. Hazard's new kid, Frazier, had 18 in the game. He definitely has made them a better team.
