Holy cow, I have two CovCath fans agreeing with me in one thread.:ylsuper: What are you guys trying to do: give me a heart attack?

We finally agree on something, and then.......

Makes you wonder why Dale doesnt run a Power game with the horses upfront and the speed in the backfield. Sometimes I would just like to see the QB line up under center in a fullhouse backfield. Throw Ryan Ball at FB, Jordan at TB and Josh connor at Wingback and grind it out. But we all know that will never happen...;)

gryche has to scare us back into submission!!

Torn miniscis (SP) scoping next monday, telling him 3-4 weeks after that.

That stinks--He's very talented!!

Why yes! :D The only good Ft. Thomas fan, is a dead Ft. Thomas fan! :D  :thumb:

Good luck in every game this season, except of course against CovCath and I am looking forward to the last regular season game in Ft. Thomas. The rivalry between Ft. Thomas and CovCath has always been fun and has produced some of the greatest high school football in Kentucky, year in and year out.........

Saturday, against a very good Glen Estes team.

Glen Este lost a ton from last year and are probably more of a 5 or 6 win team this year. Nonetheless, from a physicality stand-point, it should be a good pre-season test for the Colonels.

Rlye has thew talent to play with anyone, but do they have the coaching they need to survive? only time will tell.

Ryle was a joke. As big as this school is and they showed me nothing. Cov Cath ran just basic stuff for the most part. When will Ryles program get to where it should be?

Personally, I don't think you guys looked that good against Ryles second string....hahahh. Especially in the second half, looked like you guys got tired or something, let Scotty Gray walk right thru the middle of your D for a 30 yard TD.

So Scotty scored a 30yarder in the second half against the JV and your pumping your chest? I don't get it.

BTW - that was the only 6........... all day........... SIX.

Sam Flynn is second string now too. hahaahhah

I have sat back and read too much.

Let's not forget this was a "Scrimmage" and Glen Este who Ryle opens the season against at Nippert Stadium was in attendance complete with not less than six cameras filming both teams and writing notes on every play.

Ryle played at least six different RB's, ran a very limited playbook and wanted to see how deep they were.

Obviously there is work to be done.

As for CC playing second string against Ryle's 1st...I was at the scrimmage and JV played JV and Varsity played Varsity.

CC has a good team and I wish them all the best this season. Ryle has a ton of talent, good coaching and great support from their fans. The sky is not falling.

GO RAIDERS!!!

Reading the posts and not the thread title...I thought this was a NCC/Dixie scrimmage thread...

Nah, we don't bring up that scrimmage until the polls come out around week 5.
