I understand the the qb for Ryle has a broke jaw, the db/receiver broke his arm,and a lineman may have an ACL injury.

Not a good start for Ryle.

Cov Cath played thier second string/ junior varstiy for much of the second half.

Oh? So Bleser is second string now? He played all but the last set of downs when 37 came in.

Bleser is not second string... the second string played during half time and about half of the forth quarter

With all Ryle's injuries, looks like they played their second string pretty much the entire game....

So,DD, is this the football version of "bloop singles?"

Ryle will be OK despite the injuries. I'd look for a smashmouth style and a bigger emphasis on defense and keeping the score low.

Bryson has a new challenge in front of him.

Blesser did play most of the second half but most of the back field was second string.

They will be playing Glen Este.

Nope, just trying to let DHR70 know not to get too excited, they haven't seen Ryles' best. Ryle should be fine, as I understand none of the injuries should exceed 4 weeks downtime. And yes, bloopers are bloopers.

Did Ryle run the "I" like last year? I hope they do more on offense this year

than last. Last year it was Ice left, Ice right on 1st and 2nd down then 3rd

down slant pass or fly pass.

They ran a split back field.

1. Broken Jaw 6-8 weeks.

2. Blown Knee 4-6 weeks.

3. Broken Arm 2 weeks.(but play with cast.)

Cov Cath looked impressive.

Did he actually tear his ACL? I would assume that a 4-6 week recover time means that he doesn't have to have surgery.

Thanks for confirming. I doubt many would have got c81's joke.

I talked to Vince Murray(the other rb for ryle) and he just said he blew out his knee. He didnt tell me anything else.
