I believe that there is no player in the 10th region that can keep Crawford from getting to the rim

Where are you guys from the land of Oz? Making a statement Pig did not stop Crawford? Once again Mason beat Bracken!!!! Do you understand MASON BEAT BRACKEN!!! The points Crawford had did not matter for his team they lost... I just do not think anyone in Bracken Co. understands when you loose Hinson or Crawford is a hero!!!! If you ask me, Hamilton, is a better player and it really hurts the team with out him.

This thread is way out of bounds and I hope it's dead. I think the 39th's stage is sufficiently set, let's see what happens. It'll be settled on the court by the TEAM that wants it the most and executes.

It does not say Mason beat Bracken but the win did not matter because Crawford had 32 points. My god you people in Bracken Co. Could care less if you win just as long as Crawford scores points. There is your answer why you have lost so many games and for the last three or more years you do not have a district banner placed in your gym. Just keep thinking that away Bracken Co. and Hinson, that it does not matter if you win it only matters how many points Crawford makes in a game. Now that's what I call great coaching and wonderful support from the Bracken Co. Fans. Remember everyone when Bracken Co. Losses it really does not matter if your team wins it only matters if Crawford score points, that's the new Ky. High School basketball rules. No wins matter! I went back to the start of this thread and re read everything.

 

It started off great discussion about the tournament and reasons for who we thought was going to win an what not.

 

Then it got off course. I bought into it as well and darted down that road with everyone else and it got out of hand. There's nothing wrong with saying your opinion and backing it up, but now it's starting to sound like a lot of ax grinding and not real discussion.

 

Fact of the matter is I am as bad as anyone else about getting carried away at times and really don't have a lot of room to talk but Austin Crawford doesn't have to prove a damn thing to anybody on here. He is a 16-17 year old baller that is very good at the sport he loves. To all us 20,30,and 40somethig former players we should know what it was like at that age especially if you was good and having to listen to this crap all the time the unneeded pressure that ensues from that. So no to the poster that said he has something to prove he dose not need to prove anything to you me or anyone else. Just enjoy watching the young man play like we enjoy watching Pig, Wilson, Ohmer, etc.

 

Now for all the negative posters of Jason Hinson. Why? What the hell has that man ever did to you to warrant a question of his coaching ability or stature in the 10th region coach. I'm sure no one will argue his knowledge of the game and his motivation skills as a coach. He has been fortunate enough to to coach some of the best the 10th has had to offer (Owens, Bach, now Crawford) and yes having players like that make his job a little easier but not that much easier that one should discredit all he has accomplished as a head coach. All this players made the coach/ coach made the players talk is completely insane it takes both pure and simple. So please stop grinding your ax on BGP and go grind it with him in person I'm sure he will hear you out and y'all can settle it in private instead of a message board.

 

Like I said, I bit on this as well and took my shots too. Not apologizing just saying that sometimes it happens and I should think before I speak and that's hard for me at times. Get caught up in the moment and all :lol2:. I'm sure that it will happen again down the road if my account is still active.

 

As for the threads intent before personal agendas got in the way. It should be a damn good one. Any of three teams have a legit shot at winning and don't count out the fourth. I personally can't wait for it to start and will have my butt in the bleachers for every game. One of the most even fields we have had in a long time in the 39th.

That's what Hinson gave them! Not that those kids didn't have it before. Hinson is a motivator, he made them better than they already were.

Why are so many people taking so much from those kids in Augusta, it had the pleasure at watching them a few times this year and the past years with Jason and although I think Jason is a good coach i think he was lucky to have the kids he had. Those kids don't quit, and according to what some are saying it's all because of Jason but now they don't have him and they are doing just fine with a "mediocre" coach (others opinion not mine) let's start giving credit where credit is due

Pretty sad to judge a guy who is only in his fourth year as a HC imo....Wasn't like he had the best starting coaching gig.

IMO, to speculate on who played the more important role in Augusta's past success is unfair to both Coach Hinson and the players.

Bottom line is, any banners or hardware that exists as part of Augusta's recent success are forever attached to Coach Hinson, the rest of the coaching staff and the players.

I wish success to both Coach Hinson at Bracken and Coach Kirk at Augusta.
