CCH QB/P - Josh Bleser Newspaper Article

Featured Replies

I like Bleser a lot too and in my opinion the CCH offense should not miss a beat this year.

For everyone who doesn't know about Bleser I can tell you he is a big, strong athlete with a cannon for an arm.

I don't know if it said it in the article but I'm guessing Josh is 6'2, 200 to 210 with a very strong lower body .

Good luck Josh, I'm looking forward to watching you play this season!:thumb:

That is good size....if it is true. I expect a battle when they play the Birds and they also will have their work cut out when they play Elder on the 26th.

That is good size....if it is true. .

How exactly am I supposed to take the "if it is true" comment? I'm pretty close if not dead on.

I'm pretty close if not dead on.

I'd have to second that one. :thumb:

Testy these days my friend:cool: . My guess is that he was referring to the fact that programs and kids often exaggerate their heights and weights as you and I discussed last year, and that if that was where you had obtained your info, it could be questionable. Kind of like some 40's times for the CovCath kids that was recently discussed on this site. He probably did not realize that you and Ky Blue have actual knowledge.

That was an actual question and , again, not being testy. I guess I need to add icons on to show when I'm testy and when I'm not.

100% correct on program height and weights. My boy played at 5'10 190 to 195 and was listed as 6'1 205.

Josh's height and weight I listed, as KYBlue confirmed, are dead on. I may even be a bit conservative .

I'd have to second that one. :thumb:

Not sure if I can go with that . With the hot weather he look's to be down to 198 !!!:D

Ive seen this kid throw a ball 30-40 yards behind his back. Thats pretty impressive

Why would he do that?

Why would he do that?

I would guess he was acting like a HS aged kid...

Why would he do that?

Couldnt tell you, i guess he was just messing around before practice.

Excellent article...I had been out of town for a couple of days and my family saved the paper for me.

I am looking forward to the scrimmage this Saturday as well as a good season for the Colonels.

The article said that CovCath is 1-14 in their last 15 games against out-of-state opponents. Does this prepare them better for the postseason, or tire them out? (If the mods think that this should be in a new thread, we can do that also)

Good Luck Josh B. ! :thumb: Should be fun watching Bricking and Bleser shoot it out in week 3 this year ! The two played alot of baseball and football together and are good friends ! Good Luck to both Qb's this year !!!:thumb:

Didn't they both play for the Raiders of the NKYFL?????
