I am telling you that if the Cavs fail this year, then the rumors will be very strong again and even a possibility of the Cavs making another change. Now if your opinion is that change won't happen, then that's fine because that is your opinion. I am not even saying a change would definitely happen. Just saying how you will be wrong on the Cal rumors being dead. If the Cavs fail this year the rumors will start back up. To be more clear. This was a coup. This has been in motion since the season ended last year. Tyronn Lue has been Lebron's choice as coach since he returned to Cleveland. David Blatt was fired and 10 minutes later Tyronn Lue was named head coach and signed a multi-year deal. He wasn't named the interim coach. He wasn't named the head coach in waiting. Lue was named the head coach and signed his deal before David Blatt got to the hospital to get the knife surgically removed from his back. This was an orchestrated and calculated move by the organization(Lebron and Rich Paul). Not a knee jerk reaction. If he was named interim coach then IMO Cal rumors would be going full steam ahead. Cal didn't even get time to issue his new demand of 150 million guaranteed. Lue will be the man there for at least a season and a half before he gets the axe.
January 23, 201610 yr Am I the only one who wants to see the Cav's tank now? It's difficult to tank with the second best player in the league, a top 3-5 point guard, and a top 10 forward. They'll be in the finals on star power alone.
January 23, 201610 yr This is like when George Karl got fired after being named Coach of the Year. It is pretty incredible though, that Blatt's team has done the absolute best of all teams in the East for his entire time in the Land. Maybe it was a payroll issue for the Cavs. :laugh:

I was addressing your comments about the Cal rumors being dead. I am just stating that I think they will definitely come up again if the Cavs fail this year,especially if they look bad doing it. It doesn't mean they will pull the trigger but I do think the rumors will come back.

I thought last season they would beat the Warriors if they were fully healthy, but Steph and Co. are phenomenal and will be next to impossible to beat four times. So if losing in the finals is failure, I'm ok with it, especially with DeRozan being a free agent next season.

January 23, 201610 yr PP92 is right. Lue is Lebron hand picked coach and was hired to make sure Lebron stays. If Lebron made the demand I would of done the same thing if I'm the owner. But Lebron just got rid of his scape goat. It's all on him now.
