January 25, 201610 yr So much going on with this. PP92 pretty much covered it all. The Cavs have some issues going forward. I think they have to trade Love at this point. I know it's likely they make the Finals, but they aren't beating anyone that comes out of the West. They have $23M tied up in Tristan Thompson and Anderson Varejao this year. $24M to these two next year. They need to figure this out and the Love situation. Also lets not forget Mozgov has gone in the crapper as well.

LeBron IS the GM of the Cavs. The team he has put together, with rosters getting smaller, has not performed well of late against top quality opposition.

The Lebrons lost to the Warriors, owned the Clippers and lost to the Bulls. The Bulls beat them earlier this season and the Bulls always beat the Lebrons in the regular season. The Lebrons also played below expectations at this time last year then smoked everybody after the All Star Break. Come playoff time Lebron will do what he does and they'll make the Finals and get beat by the winner of the Warriors/Spurs/Thunder gauntlet.
January 25, 201610 yr I don't think the Cavs are the shoe-in for the Finals that everyone seems to think. If, and maybe it's a big if, Toronto makes a move I could see them taking the East. Lowry and DeRozan is one heck of a one, two punch.
January 25, 201610 yr The Lebron's(I like name he he) have spent way to much on Lebron's friends that's agreed. Someone as to tell me who on the cavs can grab double digit rebounds, score from multiple places on the floor and stretch the floor so LeBron and Kyrie can drive for layups? Like Chris Bosch, Love can't go steal the ball from those two. Love and Bosch are both non-dribblers, thus dependent on catching a pass from others. I still think Love stays and Ty tries other ways to make him fit. It's ridiculous to think his numbers will be even close to his pre Cavs days. Ty is hinting about speeding the Cavs up on offence. I'm not saying that won't work, but it should be interesting. Ty either goes down as the greatest first year coach in nba history or the biggest goat in nba history.
