January 21, 201610 yr My wife is working out of town, and her company is already planning on having them work thru the weekend since most likely they won't be able to get home. They've gotten rooms for the employees, and I leave on Monday for Chicago.

You do a great job and I too am a weather enthuseist and woul enjoy looking at models for pending snow storms in the winter. Im always accessing my radar apps in the spring/summer during peak tornado season. Any links or apps i can use that you can suggest would be great. I combine all the information from all of the sites I use to make my predictions. There are several others I use. Plus I'm a trained spotter for the NWS. I took classed both on line and in the classroom. the main thing I've learned is not to look at tv weather because that will cause you to look at it differently.

January 21, 201610 yr I think the weather channel is playing jokes on me now. Just watched the local on the 8's and it's showing 64 degrees and mostly cloudy tomorrow. Unfortunately they are calling for am showers Saturday, but I'll take it.
January 21, 201610 yr You've got folks saying 1-3" and you've got folks saying 8-14" for the same areas. Which is it? There's a huge difference in those ranges and it's getting close to crunch time to make decisions for Friday. That's what she said....
