Pirmanti Brothers are inching closer

As a friend of mine described it the first time we ate there:

"Oh, it's a Pitty Cheesesteak. Good sandwich."

Yes it is.

I've never had it or heard of it, but I live about 15 minutes from Beavercreek.

It's a sandwich joint? Guessing it's pretty good?

Been to the original location twice. It's ok, just too much stuff on a sandwich for me. I would eat there, but not drive out of my way or make a special trip.

Yeah it's a pretty good sandwich. If you find yourself somewhere in the vicinity of North Fairfield Road (for the life of me I can't imagine why), it's worth a stop.

I like to think putting French fries on a sandwich is Pittsburgh's cultural pinnacle.

They make a good sandwich. One of those spots that puts fries and cole slaw right on the sandwich.

Can't remember which show, maybe Man vs Food, went there.

I had not heard of them until our family made an overnight trip to Pittsburgh one weekend to check out a game at PNC park. (Which BTW is one of the nicest stadiums I have been to.) They were selling them at the stadium and they looked delicious. I was upset that I had just eaten a big meal prior to the game. We were heading out of town as soon as the game ended so I never got a chance to sample one.

Agreed.

I want fries on the side. But I still would try it.

Not a big fan. I'd eat it again probably just not my cup of tea.

They have excellent wings that use the original recipe from the Anchor Inn in Buffalo at most of their locations. I know that their original location still uses the original menu with just the sandwiches but they have a lot of good food beyond the sandwiches on the expanded menus at their "branch" locations.

The sandwiches are ok, I've had a couple while drinking downtown Pittsburgh

City of Cincy and Hamilton County should issue a statement saying they'll fight any attempt to bring in anything from Pittsburgh.
