January 15, 201610 yr So you don't believe politicians (not just Mr Trump) use code words? Possibly, but deciphering code words is similar to trying to decipher conspiracy theories.
January 15, 201610 yr Both Trump and Wallace appeal to the same class of people. (Check out who voted for Wallace for president in '68.) Both peddle fear of "other types of people" with fiery rhetoric. If you don't think that Trump is a segregationist, what's that wall on the Rio Grande about? To control ILLEGAL immigration.
January 15, 201610 yr I actually gave Trump sort of an attaboy in that post. I know your hate runs deep, but you might want to actually read the posts before spewing garbage.
January 15, 201610 yr I guess the fear is working... http://www.usnews.com/opinion/articles/2016-01-08/new-poll-shows-donald-trump-is-a-real-threat-to-hillary-clinton "Nearly 20 percent of likely Democratic voters say they'd cross sides and vote for Trump, while a small number, or 14 percent, of Republicans claim they'd vote for Clinton. When those groups were further broken down, a far higher percentage of the crossover Democrats contend they are "100 percent sure" of switching than the Republicans."
January 15, 201610 yr 20 % , thats about all thats left of the centrist democrats . The best recruiter for the R is extremist like the D's keep running out there . See socialist Bernie .

Recent story about Trump's standing with Dems and independents (according to Gallup) should concern Republicans should he actually win the GOP nomination: ******************** Donald Trump may be winning in most GOP polls, but according to a Gallup analysis, he also has the most negative image out of any Republican candidates in the eyes of Democrats and independents. Trump’s net favorability is minus 70 points among Democrats and minus 27 among independents. That share among Democrats is basically double his nearest rival for worst net favorability, Ted Cruz. The Texas senator comes in at minus 37 points among Democrats and minus 3 points among independents. Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee comes in a close third for worst scores, at minus 34 points from Democrats and minus 6 points from independents. But there’s better news for all three of those candidates in their own party: Cruz has the highest net favorability rating among Republicans, at plus 51 points; retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson comes in second at plus 47 points; and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is up plus 46. Huckabee, meanwhile, rates plus 40 points. With Republicans, Trump finished sixth, at plus 27 net favorability. The results are based on Gallup’s Daily tracking data from Dec. 1, 2015, to Jan. 11. Gallup: Trump has worst image among Democrats, independents - POLITICO
January 15, 201610 yr Trump has no chance of winning the General Election.... Same thing most Democrats were saying about Matt Bevin last year.
January 15, 201610 yr Trump has no chance of winning the General Election.... Same thing most Democrats were saying about Matt Bevin last year. What percentage of the Latino vote is Trump going to get? 10?, 15% , 20% at most? He has to have much , much more than that. The math just doesn't work for him. He will not be President.

January 15, 201610 yr So did you feel the same way about Bevin? I was surprised by the result but I didn't think it was mathematically impossible like it is with the Trumpster. Unless he can win over a hellava lot of Latinos, he has zero chance. I think he has offended them into oblivion. He will probably try to pander to them if he makes it to the general but it will be too late by then. Trump is toast against either Hillary or the Bern' !!!

Well I guess if the majority of voters happen to be mathematicians, he has no hope. However if he gets the nod in the primaries, we will see how your prediction works out come November.

January 15, 201610 yr I hope you're right. I'm hoping he gets that nomination!!!! :thumb: And I'm sure you were thrilled when you learned that Conway was going to go up against Bevin. That worked out well...

However if he gets the nod in the primaries, we will see how your prediction works out come November. Bevin's win is really not that surprising in retrospect. It's a red state. It has red values. When the democrat can't show the state he is a better candidate KY voters are going to vote with their heart. Conway was a pitiful gubernatorial candidate.

Sure seems like the Socialist party is growing, how long till it's a split state?
