Who are some of the Projected Top RB's in 2006/2007 season

Do you think Josh Conner will play much this year????? I really think he could be the best back out of HHS since Justin Frisk.....
Depends on what kind of spring he's had. He is very talented, and Kramer played a lot as a Soph, why not Josh.

Mark Terry- North Hardin, Plays in an offense that highlights the running back, should be a special year for this youngman.

Dark Horse

James Carlisle FB John Hardin has one of the best lines in the state to run behind, need to said no more.

I've got to go with Darren Ross for the Danville Ads!;)

I like him too...:thumb:

Joe Roskopf at Lynn Camp. He rushed for over 1000 yds last season, mainly in a backup role. He has gotten a lot bigger and stronger during the off season, and with the O-line pretty much all back, he should have a monster year.

AGREED! Dale will go with the horse(s) that brings him! If Josh delivers...then he will get the "mail" !

Clint Greene at GRC if he is given the chance to carry the ball.

6`1 224lb 4.49 forty speed, Clint Greene. Also GRC, as a RB/WR/SS , R .Rogers 6`0 165lb, speed on top of speed, Rogers was clocked at 4.39 in the forty yard dash. So I got to go with Greene and Roger`s.

Kasey Clark - Russell

I think he will get carries. However as Dale rarely features one back, and HHS has quite a few good backs, I think Connors touches will be limited. If any one back is going to get more touches than the others, I believe that would be Jordan Kramer.
I have watched this young man play since he was in pee wee and i assure you he will get carries. There is no way Dale can keep this kid off the field

What we are really talking about is O line execution. Kasey succeeds based upon how well O line and other backs execute the Wing T. However having Kasey as a senior means the holes don't have to be as big or open as long. I predict huge numbers for Kasey after some early struggles... Kasey has learned to run in traffic and put his head down. At times this year he will need this. Last years Championship was in part won by the combination of several physical experienced kids. Other Devils will step up ... Go Devils ..

My 1st sentence " I think he will get some carries". I saw Josh run for nearly 400 yds in a frosh game last year. No where do I say he will be kept off the field. Why did you respond to my post? Did you agree with me? I,m not really sure.

Avery Hibbitt, BGHS...has already set the school records for scoring in one season, scoring in a career, and longest run from scrimmage in school history. Currently has 2444 career rushing yards. Had the second highest rushing total in school history last year and is taking dead aim at Shawn Taylor's (1991-1993) career record of 3350 yards.

I also like Vic Anderson of St X, Emanuel Taylor of Hopkinsville, and Kasey Clark of Russell.

:D

WOW! I thought Kramer was a tough little back but Justin Frisk is a huge comparison for somebody IMO. I've never seen the kid but he must be tough to be put up with Frisk!

With a duo like this the rest of the teams should be playing for second place.

If I'm going with a non-NKY RB, I have to go with Shane Isreal from LexCath. He really impressed me last year.

NKY, I gotta go with Kramer and then several others from Highlands. So much talent there, as always.

I agree Israel looked good last year, particularly as a sophomore. But one thing to keep in mind is the fact that defenses were set up to stop Burke. He not only could throw the ball, but ran the ball equally as well. He put a lot of pressure on defenses, that made Israel's job much easier. But don't get me wrong, he's good. With defenses not having to worry about Burke this year, they will be able to focus much more on Israel. Plus he'll have pretty much a totally inexperienced line blocking for him. The going may be much tougher this year, unless and until the new qb becomes a threat and the o line proves itself.

Kramer is the real deal. Both he and Schrode operating behind a totally inexperienced line last year really showed their stuff. Schode unfortunately won't have the benefit of operating behind all the returning starting o linemen (he graduated), but Kramer should benefit greatly. With his talent, behind an o line that should be very good, will result in a lot of yards and tds for him. Plus, the situation will take a lot of pressure off of whomever the qb is to be this year. I actually think the qb for Highlands will surprise a lot of people because teams are going to be focused on Kramer. Sort of the inverse of what happened with Lex Cath last year.
