January 5, 201610 yr Spectacular game. I think they said that KU was 11-22 from 3; OU something like 16-33.
January 5, 201610 yr Author Buddy Hield gets a live interview on Sportscenter after the game. Can't remember seeing a player getting that kind of interview after his team lost.
January 5, 201610 yr Just remember that when they lose in the 2nd round again. To a Double Digit Seed.

January 5, 201610 yr Games like this one are why I absolutely love college basketball. I'm not such a fan of college hoops. Watered-down product these days with so many talented players bolting for The Association early. But this was a great game. And after watching UNC-FSU and then this one, I'm really not seeing the need for a quicker shot clock.
January 5, 201610 yr I'll take that game over any NBA game now until the rest of time. I am not an NBA hater by any means, I actually love watching the NBA. But that is the purest form of basketball right there.
January 5, 201610 yr Seems like 10 years ago when I was in Indy for an AAU event watching Andre Drummond, Shabazz Muhammad, and Perry Ellis before their senior year in high school. @gametime Only a decade??? :lol2:
January 5, 201610 yr Buddy Hield gets a live interview on Sportscenter after the game. Can't remember seeing a player getting that kind of interview after his team lost. Better than that, the Kansas fans waited around and gave him a standing ovation as he walked off the court following the interview. Reminded me of Nebraska giving Ricky Williams a standing ovation in Lincoln when he set the rushing record. Love that stuff.
January 5, 201610 yr I didn't say that I was a Jayhawk fan.:stop: He was telling you to remember that so you can tell your pastor about it.
January 5, 201610 yr Perry Ellis with 27 & 13 for Kansas. The 7th year senior had a nice game. Feels like this guy has been there forever.
