Fair observation but I believe he said they were only going to focus on what they could control which they did. The rest he put to faith and got lucky. The difference being they will prepare for whoever the next opponent will be and not hope to avoid one team over another. Obviously they did not have much of a choice.

Well they got their wish. Which now once again they will be playing the Bengals in the playoffs with a backup qb. However I think this time the backup qb will lead the Bengals to a win over the Steelers and will be the start of an amazing run!

 

There is no better way to end the playoff drought for Marvin, than going back to the beginning and getting the win over the Steelers!

Hate to say it, but I think the Steelers will continue the Bengal's two decade playoff drought. A rival game vs a fierce opponent in their own field only makes this more hopeless. I hope for the best, but I'd rather deal with reality than certain disappointment.
