Anyone else concerned about CVH with less than 10 points?

I know what the teams' outcome was, but if Cole really wants to be as good as he said he does then he needs to keep his average up. I hope this 9 point game is the only outlier.

His team won by 50 had a teammate go for 28, im guessing a running clock and you think he needs to score more than 9 points. Ok makes sense.

Not at all concerned.

Cole is as much of a smart team player as he is a good player. He doesn't always need to be in the spotlight when you have multiple players that can score the ball. I wasn't at the game, but I'm sure he saw that Fredrick had a hot hand and was content in letting him stay in his zone. Whether or not Cole is scoring, he's contributing and seeing the bigger picture in getting everyone involved and more experienced to ultimately have a more solid state level team in the long run.

Is that a misprint? Was it really 84-38?

How many HS point guards can dunk 1/500 ???

First thing that came to mine was Knott County last year traveling from Myrtle Beach to Muhl to play after 4 games in 5 days. This Taylor County team came from Bristol Tennessee all the way back to Western KY. Nothing left, I presume.

Except that CovCath had just returned from Sarasota, FL.

You're so right. Let's just factor that into the final outcome and the win is 36 points for the Colonels instead of 46. :ohbrother:

Have you spoken to him about his goals in terms of legacy and college choices? He's got some extremely high goals and a 9 point game is not going to help him get where he wants to be.

I'm not concerned with the team's progress, for what it's worth. I just know what Cole wants to accomplish in the big picture, that's all.

I don't care if he's the #1 player in the nation.....if a teammate has the "hot hand", I say feed him all night.

BTW, congrats to the Blue Colonels on total "donkey-kickin'", impressive margin of victory.

No I haven't. But college coaches like winners. If his team keeps winning his college choices will grow with each win.

Hopefully he seeked out the Fredrick kid during the game and kept feeding him the ball college coaches love this to.

CCH sophs out scored Taylor 52-36.

That, sir, is everything that is wrong with scholastic athletics today. In what world is a 46 point win over a highly ranked team a bad thing. It's sad that priorities are all out of sorts today.

Today it's ME > team

Yea give credit to Cov Catholic but also everyone needs to start getting that Taylor County has a coach that a) relied on getting everyone else's players and didn't develop his own players and 2) isn't a very good coach. The man goes where the talent is and then he screws the program up. Look at Moore and now Taylor. He won't be back next year. He will go somewhere else where his kid can be a star and that place isn't Taylor County. Can you imagine how horrible this team would be without Quentin?!? Gatewood is basically the equivalent of Lane Kiffin in football. Cocky, ignorant, and a sore loser.
