January 1, 201610 yr Author Number of miles your Fitbit says you've ran this year? I am going to call this the winner. What is, the number of miles theguru walked this year? I just use the Health App on my iPhone. If anything, I believe the reading is close based on comparing it with some other equipment. Either way, it is a baseline for me. Good job JD!

January 2, 201610 yr That's 4 miles a day. That's awesome. I agree. Seriously Guru that is something to be proud of.
January 4, 201610 yr Author You know this means you HAVE to do at least 1,500 in 2016... It is not a competition. And I can tell everyone, I am off to a very slow start, that changes today. :taz:
January 4, 201610 yr Author 3 miles so far today--and that was all during work! I find with that app normal walking around gives me big numbers. In other words, I can walk a brisk pace for a hour and run up 4 miles but if I do the same on an elliptical or adaptive motion training machine for a hour (both of which feel like twice the pace and certainly burn more calories) the app doesn't register as much distance as the brisk walk.
