What we know is that this was a terrible tragedy. What we do not know is why it happened or the underlying factors that contributed to it. Until such time as we have those answers, we don't want to be speculating or pointing fingers. Now is not the time and BGP is not the place for that!

Also, discussion of illegal supplements is a violation of BGP rules.

Thanks.

This is a tragedy. I have worked for the team the past 8 seasons as equipment mngr. My heart goes out to coach Duffer Duffy, the team, the family and all of Henderson. Coaches water down the players thru out the practices. This could have happened anywhere, and WILL again somewhere. To assess blame is a work in futility at this point!

Thoughts and prayers to the entire Henderson County community, school system, team, and family.

No one should be pointing fingers at this time.

Guys the team and the community want to thank you all for praying for us in the horrible time. ryan owens is in a better place now. Just goes to show that theres more to life than football.
