What freedoms are in danger? I'm all for defending freedom if it's in jeopardy, but if you can swallow your pride and save thousands of lives I'll take it.

This is where I stand as well. In my opinion, President Obama's biggest failure is the fact that his has not a strong enough leader to help unite the country.

I don't think anyone would argue otherwise, at least here on BGP. But you are a rare one to admit McConnell is poison.

 

For the record, compromise has not been a buzzword on Capitol Hill for decades, not just during the current POTUS' terms.

 

Actually I think McConnell is a toerag and wish he would have lost in the primary. But once he won it it was way to important to keep ALG out of the Senate to either vote for her or not vote so I held my nose and voted McConnell.
