April 21, 20179 yr In love with another podcast: S-town. It's a story out of very rural Alabama. Very well done. Listened to the first episode. John is really annoying, but I liked it. Going to try and listen to the second one later tonight.

Yeah, I thought it started out VERY strong in the 1st 2 or 3 episodes and then "limped home" from there. Still worth devoting a few hours to but not quite up to the level of the 1st Serial podcast (Adnan Syed) but better than the 2nd season (Bowe Bergdahl).

June 22, 20179 yr A friend told me about a serial broadcast called S-Town. A very engaging guy from a small town in Alabama contacted some NPR guys about a cover-up of a murder done by the son of a rich family as well as a corrupt officer abusing women. I'm one episode in and I'm entertained and interested.
