It seems the Milwaukee faithful are showing their support for the Lee trade by not showing up tonight …

Last night, Marty compared Majewski to Clay Kirby. Good pitcher at another team (Padres for Kirby) and good person but could not handle the pressure of a pennant race and could not pitch in that pressure situation.

Milton starts out rough. 2nd and 3rd no out in the first.

Not any longer. Base hit drives in 2 and Reds are in a hole.

That didn't take long. Any chance Krivsky can trade for a 4th and 5th starter?

Actually, I think they have a 5th starter being Milton (send him out there once every 10-12 days.) Harang, Arroyo and Ramirez is a nice three. We need someone in that 3rd spot with Ramirez being the 4th pitcher.

Milton is even rougher than normal tonight.

Whose the Reds pitcher that can go in long relief?

Milton is bad, not just tonight but bad....
Milton is bad, not just tonight but bad....

He has had some good starts though this season. The one against the Mets, he SHOULD NOT have been out there that inning. He has kept them in about 1/2 the games he has pitched. Not great numbers. Not even good numbers.

But don't you think he could fill that 5th starter role?

Reds trying to get back into it. Bases loaded and no out with John Deere man up.

That was some kinda professional AB by LaRue.

At least Milton helped his own cause a bit.

I agree.

LaRue has to get that ball into the outfield and make some sort of good contact. He looked awful.

Terrible strike three call on Freel.

Milton couldn't start on some college teams...Did you see the look on Narron's face, in the dugout.

I could see Freel getting thrown out on that call. He can be emotional at times. Guess he kept it sort of under control

They are teeing off on Milton tonight. Long drive to RF to start the 2nd. Hopefully, Narron will NOT listen to his heart and let Milton stay out there long. Right now they are only 2 down.

Not hard to see that coming...

Narron took the fall for Freel, as he should've.

In other news, Ricky Nolasco's no-hitting Philly through six.
