July 29, 200620 yr Milton couldn't start on some college teams...Did you see the look on Narron's face, in the dugout. A little too tough. He has had 9 quality starts this season, including 2 in July (three if you go with the idea that he should not have been pitching to Beltran.) July 2nd vs. Cleveland 6 innings 3 runs. July 13th vs. Colorado 6 innings 3 runs. 2 quality starts in June. June 6 vs. St. Louis 7 innings 0 runs. June 17th vs. the White Sox 7 innings 3 runs. That's two pretty good teams there. If I read the Reds stats right, Ramirez has 10 quality starts. Last night's being the difference between the two.
July 29, 200620 yr Jr. seemed to be starting to get out of his slump. 3 w's, 1 HR and a single in his last two games.
July 29, 200620 yr Pic is a flat out nightmare on the mic... Why is it the Reds have such poor TV announcers. Saw in the Post today that last week's game, forget which night it was, was the highest rated TV show in the Cincy area beating out all of the major networks shows.
July 29, 200620 yr Turned out to be the Enquirer. TV STARS: The Reds-Astros game was the No. 1-rated show in prime time in the Cincinnati market Tuesday night. The game beat out "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," "House, M.D." and "Big Brother," among others. http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060728/SPT04/607280404/1071
July 29, 200620 yr Hatte strikes out and not happy about the call. Seems like it might be a long night for the Reds hitters.
July 29, 200620 yr In other news, Ricky Nolasco's no-hitting Philly through six. You are the kiss of death...
July 29, 200620 yr Phillips is on for the 2nd time via the bunt. Anyone ever go 4-4 in a game all through bunts???? :sssh:
July 29, 200620 yr Lighter bat for Dunn seems to be working very well. Dunn scores from 3B on grounder but WHY DID HE NOT SLIDE???? Closer than should have been. Reds back to within 1. 3-2.
July 29, 200620 yr Miller has to be happy with that bad throw. He was about to get cleaned... That would have been sweet.
