Until this yr I pretty sure Highlands won every state title in 5A when they were in it? Am I right? Congrats to BG thus yr! But the Birds will be right there next yr in the thick of things!

And for what its worth, the Blue Birds are my favorite team other than my own. Whenever Highlands is playing for the state title, I am rooting for them. I love the tradition and passion of them.

You really must be hitting the wild Irish rose way to hard!! You do know Cooper an Ryle have been around for a little bit now? You do know until this yr the Birds have been to 8 straight finals while winning 7 of them? You do know that right? I'm pretty sure both those schools were competing during that run! Highlands will continue to get kids who want to come to Highlands! Just curious who is your team?

Stopping them? If you want to pay tuition you can as long as there room. Or you can move into town and go for free. There is kids from boone an Kenton that either moved up here or is paying tuition to go here. Highlands is Highlands they will get the same kids who want to go there as before.

BG had a great year! Next year their offense loses about 5 guys off their 2-deep roster, so things are great there. But on defense, they will lose about 12 guys off their 2-deep roster. This is where BG could struggle next year. Should be fun.

 

I don't know much about South Oldham except they gave a very good Fern Creek team all they wanted. Best of luck next year!

3 through 10 really doesn't matter as far as order. I believe in my humble, yet accurate opinion that if Red Devils didn't have to face Purples they would have been 15 and 0.

 

Purples repeat next season beating X in week 3 and running table, 15 and 0.

I know it might be reckless to say, considering that they haven't beaten Highlands since 2006..... But I am really eager to see how Covington Catholic performs next year. I know they return a good lot of skill positions, not sure about line. But I'm excited to see the product they will put on the field for next year.
