WKU venue is great.

 

I do think they have to think of another location just because this problem could happen yearly.

I had this same problem, with time warmer sports channel 1311 here.

It took them 7 weeks to get it fixed.

I would rather talk Rocket Science with Kindergarten kids than try to get competent help from Time Warner Cable customer service. Please don't get me started...

 

I will say, the actual TV service I get from Time Warner is very good and that is all that matters to me.

I plan to attend on Sunday. Lets see how my weekend goes. The only more central place would be in Elizabethtown. Now, all those that want it moved to there need to find sponsors for the event, and i am sure that KHSAA would look at moving the venue. Other than that, they have made an excellent choice of venues and location in my opinion, and I seldom agree with very much that they do but this one is spot on.

The KHSAA is running a business, they are making the best business decision in their opinion.

For a quasi-public association of schools? Yes.

And they have a good sponsorship situation at WKU. I am with you, I think the KHSAA is pretty smart on this one.

 

I just agree, since the big Louisville schools won't play each other only 1 in 4 years now, WKU makes sense.

The way that they have the set up now 2 Louisville schools will never play in the 6A championship again. While it's not official YET that the KHSAA will abandon the rotating first round district match-ups, I believe that it's a foregone conclusion that it will happen. Heaven forbid we have the 2 best teams play for the 6A championship. As it is we have a team with a 70-14 loss on their resume in the championship game.

WKU is an awful location. Great stadium, but too far from Louisville, Lexington or NKY.
