No not at all, the post shows that the Qaran does not corner the market so to speak on violent passages in Holy books.

There isn't a question that there are violent passages in the old testament . Noone can deny that.

 

I think the issue is in Islam there is a small % of people teaching that the violent jihad messages in the Quran to be truth and the to a glorious after life. Where as I don't know of any but I'm sure there may be a few Christian priests or ministers teaching violence as a way to heaven.

 

That is why part of the issue is religious and we have to call them radical Islamist. Sure they are misguided by taking Quran and using it as marching orders to commit violence. A majority of Muslims disagree. But it doesn't change the fact there are those Muslims who are using their sacred text as a reason to murder.

Anyone who reads the Bible and studies it knows the Bible does not condone violence in a whole. What everyone needs to do is just what I said earlier in a thread. Read it all. Start in the old Testament and read it to Revelation. Guys this is easy but read this to start:

There's no way family members didn't know something was changing. Like a lot of family's their not going to turn in their own.
