November 29, 201510 yr UK will finish with the 11th best record in the SEC. Bowl organizers will be scrambling to fill the last few spots. They will need a few 5-7 teams. UK will get an offer. An extra month of practice is great for some programs, for this one it just prolongs the agony. No one is going to invite Ky to a bowl, the way they ended the season with a Coach who has that deer in the headlights look on the sideline when things are going bad. Even if someone offered it would be only for the fan base that could help fill the stands so the bowl is not a money loser not because of the football team. Even if there were an offer, the University should show some pride and say no. After all Cal and the boys are playing and bringing in big bucks.
November 29, 201510 yr I feel like I have read where someone said Towles was starting for a reason. I have NOTHING against Barker and zero reason to want Towles to start other than helping UK win. With that said there were plays, especially in space where I kept saying Towles makes that play. Perhaps that's not fair to Barker because he doesn't have the experience Towles does but it just absolutely was not there for Barker today. Which throws? We have seen second halves like this from Towles in the past where he couldn't throw a completion and that was even with having experience. Todays game may have been different. However we have see. Enough the last two years that there was a good chance he wouldn't have looked much better throwing completions either with how inconsistent he is. With Towles there is two years to show his inconsistentsy with Barker there is one half to show of his bad play. This could be something he always does, but we don't know yet.

IMO it would be another Bill Curry type hire. Looks great on paper, but is he really going to devote his entire life to build a program? I doubt it.

November 29, 201510 yr Must have missed that. Care to enlighten us? Yes Stoops keeps admitting his team isn't up to snuff and not being held accountable. Also remembered Joker skin color is darker than Stoops!
November 29, 201510 yr Some of you all are overreacting. This team, while somewhat disappointing, is still improving under Stoops. Kentucky was terrible under Joker and it will take time to build up the roster. They made improvements this year. I say we give Stoops more time. Maybe I'm crazy.
