Beechwood and Pikeville has to get out of school early on Thursday and also miss school on Friday due to late time and about 4 hour drives. And they lose and off day in Feb.

Pikeville probably has a 5 to 6 hour drive.looks like a lot of people than cannot get off work will miss the game.i know you cant satisfy everyone but it does look like beechwood and Pikeville did get the worst end of the game change.

Come on man, it's like buying a large sweater and getting it and it's a "large youth". Yea, it's worth money, but it's not worth what you paid for it because you can't wear it.

 

But, I digress, it's a paid service, some think it's worth the price, some don't. I can pay for it, I can watch it, just seems a little nickel and dime to charge for it to me.

Come on, you know me better then that. The customers don't have control over the quality of ISP they have. Yea, they can complain, but it's still up to the provider to upgrade, and they upgrade where they have the most customers first. And, yes, there are normally multiple providers, but in many areas the quality is the same no matter the provider. You really are out of touch with the areas outside of the golden triangle.

 

Case in point, I am at work, watching the UK/UL Game on "My Dish", I can't watch it in HD because the bandwidth is not good enough, I am watching it in SD and it is grainy. What control do I have over that? Am I waiting on the government to give me something? Am I basking is self pity? It's the internet availability that I have. I have no recourse.

Everything about the finals under these circumstances is ridiculous. Nothing about Thursday or Sunday games is in the best interest of players or fanbases. I guess as long as Julian & crew's pockets are getting fat.

Why not switch the games to Commonwealth Stadium? Nobody plays there in December! LOL

UK and UL don't really want or need the State Finals. WKU was the only bidder.

At least better football would be played there.....

A tad disappointed ill have to pay to watch the state finals this year. I just watched nebraska and iowa championships for free. Have no reason to complain other than I'm a tight wad when it comes to money!

Talking more about their corporate sponsorships who have ties to the Western Kentucky campus. Most other state finals are played at the most central, a historic venue, or most prolific stadium in the state. The finals belong either at UK or UofL, period.

Are you all really complaining about paying money to watch the finals or any game for that matter? What do you all do when you show up at your home games to watch? Do you pay? Or are you one of the people that "haven't paid in 20 years" and are mad when you have to pay $5 to get in... Games cost money for the schools to put on. They use that money to fund their athletic department. The KHSAA charges money to get into the game. It pays the bills for them. So what if they are charging a little money for the online broadcast so the people that can't travel there or don't want to spend the money to be AT the game can still watch? It's less than $20!!!! for all 6 games!!!

 

It's like when a person says they would go on vacation but gas is too high... Really? If the extra .50 a gallon (about $10 more per fuel up) keeps you from taking a vacation somewhere, get this, you don't need to be taking a vacation somewhere.

Interesting how UK didn't take the thrashing from fans over this the same way WKU has gotten beat up.

11 dollars a ticket or 14.95 and watch every game and stay warm.
