She's not doing too good. We thought she was gonna get to come home today but ever since yesterday she keeps throwing up. They have or putting in a intubation tube down her nose to drain the fluid off her stomach. She keeps wanting to yank it out along with her IV.

Keep your head up ASB.

Some more news, after her little sickness spell Sunday and Monday she started feeling better Tuesday. Come to find out, her nurse had given her a shot of ativan (sp?) when the surgeon found out he told the nurse not to ever give a 80+ year old person ativan ever again. Let's just say he wasn't too happy about that. They're gonna keep her until at least early next week unless she miraculously improves but when she is allowed to leave she has to go to the nursing home for a few days for rehibillitation then she'll be allowed to come home.

Thanks everyone!!!

Atavan and the elderly isn't always a good mix. They gave it to my father-in-law once - he was in his early 80s - and he nearly tore the hospital room apart.

Good news. She's eating, she's using the rest room. She can talk good (which she could anyways), she can do a lot of things that she couldn't a week ago. She's suppose to be getting released either Monday or Tuesday then go to the Irvine nursing home for a little while for rehibillitation then she'll get to come home.

Thanks Everyone!!!

^ Excellent!

Went and got the report from the surgeon today on my granny..He said that it's stage 3 c1 cancer that's in her limp nods and that it will eat up her red blood cells, that he wasn't gonna do radiation or kemo because it would go ahead and killer her at her age, he said 1-2 years....he said just let her go home and finish living her life the way that she's been doing.

Prayers to you and your family!
