I think it is a fair question to ask how the Mich State, Michigan, Iowa consecutive games will have an effect on Ohio State. I really think it sets the Michigan game up as being very difficult especially since it is at Michigan.

Absolutely, OSU has a gauntlet to run if they wanna get back to the title.

Question for OSU Fans...which of these games (outside of maybe Va Tech) really got your juices flowing this year and had you excited...

Clyde's statement was correct...finally a game to get your juices going. This season the Bucks, by even OSU fans accounts have slept walked through the season and played like they were less than interested.

I think now that the competition ratchets up the Buckeyes will start to look more like the machine that they were at the end of last season.

You know there's a reason for that, correct?

Well let's see. Let me compare it to UK basketball. Outside 1 or 2 OOC each year, are there any games you guys get juiced up for? Terrible conference, hands down worst of the P5. To answer your question:

Indiana- they always play OSU tough

PSU- Good rival, black out, night game on national TV

Rutgers- JT back where he belongs

Minnesota- night game, had just lost a game to Michigan that they dominated statistically and should have won.

I know, very hard to fathom big game atmosphere at UK football central.

So you're saying I'm right.

BTW you know you have now put JA in a bad spot, right?

Just don't criticize South Carolina Gamecocks baseball , Penn State women's volleyball, OK State wrestling, or SEC softball.

Nope outside of Duke, Kansas, Louisville, Ohio St, a couple of Conference games against ranked teams and the NCAA Tourney I don't get overly excited about many of the other basketball games and I don't think anyone else does either...why can't you guys admit that til now the schedule has sucked and now you are to the fun part of the season?

If you were truly fired up and excited for that Indiana game more power to you, if what time the game starts is all that it takes to get the fanbase excited then schedule more night games, Buckeye fans were excited because a player played a game in his home state...seriously :lol2: beating PSU was a great thing at one time and hopefully it will mean something in the future again.

My point was that you are now to the games that get your blood boiling or Juices flowing as Clyde said, that's not a slight...tell me that these next five potential games are not a 1000 times more interesting and exciting than the last 10 games?

Quit looking to be offended and enjoy, here is the chance to prove what you have all said and thought since last January...Back to Back Championships!!!

Enjoy!!!!

You know there's a reason for that' date=' correct?[/quote']

When your the champ, which you will never in your lifetime have to worry about you get everyone's best shot and OSU has 3 very tough games coming up to close the season. But go back to focusing on how the first part of the schedule was weak, you can't contradict your narrative. Pardon us, the "rest period" is over now.

Huh?

Which part is the "huh" direct at?

Schedule up to now has been no gauntlet, I'll admit. I hope the results so far have been a combination of a.) getting everybody's best shot, due to being the champs, and b.) the possibility of playing "down" to the level of competition. A team "sleep walking" through a schedule doesn't necessarily preclude it from being a good team, though. It just leaves it open to speculation.

I am grateful for two things, though. One is the Big 10 finally has a conference championship. It gives whoever reaches there, a chance for another "quality" win, regardless of what their regular season schedule consisted of. The second thing, is the fact that we actually have a playoff. I'd have hated for OSU to go undefeated and sit at #3, with no chance at the title, just because of what someone thinks about their schedule.

Over your head as I suspected. I will only point out one of several areas in which you missed it. JT back where he belongs was a reference to being the starting QB. He's not from NJ. He's from Texas. Man I don't know why I even try to help you folks.

If you don't get hyped up, good for you. You are the exception. I know better than to try to get into any BWs on any night UK is playing some tomato can from the SEC. Every neck tat in Boone County and beyond will be out in their wal mart Royal blue t shirt blowin heaters and drinkin PBR like it's their job claiming this is the year Cal doesnt choke away another ring with the best team $$$ can buy

Go Spartans!

Buckeyes by about 5.

I agree with this more than the Vegas line, don't get the Vegas line.

I think it will be close as well. I don't get the Ohio State -13 line either, but they usually know what they're doing out west. I heard that one of the Michigan State defensive players was bragging that they were going to sack Barrett at least 6 times, and play their best game all year defensively. It should be a great game.

Ohio State 28

Michigan State 24
