I"ll probably get blasted for this but I think this movie has the potential to be better than any Rocky movie, including the first one.

MBJ is THAT good.

I've heard people say his performance is Oscar worthy. So I'm excited to see it. I would be so crazy this many years later that this franchise could potentially have an Oscar attached.

Speaking of blasphemy. While Rocky 4 is maybe the most entertaining from an action standpoint.

I think the two best of the franchise to date are the first and the last one . I really think the last Rocky is way underrated. Stallone's performance and the story line are awesome.

I really liked the last one as well, had much more of the feel from the first one IMO.

Never saw 4. Can't imagine it tops the original.

1. Rocky (Classically great movie)

2. Rocky Balboa (Very good ending for the series)

3. Rocky 4 (Most fun)

4. Rocky 2 (Very good sequel to the first movie)

5. Rocky 3 (just not great)

6. Rocky 5 (yikes, most predictable movie of the most predictable movie series of all time))

Hopefully Creed will break into the top half of my list.

It doesn't it, but 4 is fun to watch...USA vs Russia...training montage in Siberia...James Brown..."If he dies, he dies"

Just watched the trailer.

"Chickens are slowin' down"

"Chickens are slowin' down"

That cracked me up...saw that trailer at the theater last week and I laughed out loud.

Listened to MBJ today talking about the fact he had to take a few real shots for some of the pivotal punches in the film, said it was the first time he's seen stars lol. He had 3 days of bed rest after it was completed. He also knew about this film before Fruitvale.

Just watched and was very impressed. I was concerned before watching due to thinking it wouldn't have enough originality and placing too much emphasis on Rocky, which neither of happened. Very well written and acted; I definitely recommend.

Going to see it in a few minutes...great reports from a few that saw it earlier today.

I will see this for sure. I love every Rocky, but I really, really loved Balboa and this one looks to be in the same vein. I hate the Rambo franchise, but the Rocky franchise....right up my alley.

If you liked Balboa then I think you will like this one. Best performance by Stallone in years since at least Copland.

Michael B Jordan has my wife wanting to watch Friday Night Lights now!!!

I really liked the movie, there was "some" predictable moments but over all it was a very good movie and IMO easily one of the better of the Rocky Franchise.

I hope it does well at the box office...I'd like to see MBJ carry on with at least one more Creed movie.

Dang. Would love to see this — may have to try for tomorrow.
