December 1, 201510 yr I really liked the movie. If my oldest could have kept his piehole shut during it, I'd have enjoyed it more. It's like he forgot I saw every Rocky movie with him anyway. Maybe he felt the need to refresh my memory. Kids!!
December 1, 201510 yr Haven't seen this yet, going this weekend I believe, but if Stallone beats out Damon in "The Martian" he must be amazing in this.I'd think they'd be up for different awards. Wasn't Damon the lead?
December 2, 201510 yr Now I haven't seen the movie or know when it is set, but I was doing some math in my head. Rocky IV came out in 1985 (30 year anniversary). Presumably that would be the same year Apollo was killed by Ivon Drago. Is Apollo's kid supposed to be in his early 30s in this movie, I guess? According to wiki he is 30. He was born after Apollo died.
December 6, 201510 yr I'd think they'd be up for different awards. Wasn't Damon the lead? Yep. Stallone would be supporting . I finally saw the movie Friday night. Just wow. Great movie. MBJ and Stallone both deserve nominations , the director who's name I forget might deserve one as well.
December 15, 201510 yr Exceeded my expectations and got me all misty-eyed and lumpy throat at the end. I swear I'm getting softer with each passing year of age. Excellent movie and I always love seeing multiple guys from The Wire in the same movies. I loved the boxing scenes in the movie. Very well done.

I was all fired up as he entered the ring and I teared up when the Rocky music came on to start round 12. Jordan was ripped !

March 5, 201610 yr I loved it. I listen to Future's song Last Breath (from the movie, with the Rocky theme incorporated) probably every day.
March 5, 201610 yr So you stole it?U can look at it that way. I look at is as, I saved myself from being ripped off by today's movie prices.
