Perrin had 5 catches against Ashland.

Muck had two of Scott's touchdowns via the pass. Had he timed his jump a little better he would have scored 3. Also a rare drop on a wide open toss that easily would have gone for 20+ yards. Combined with Perrin's catches it was a productive passing attack.

I'm taking JC by a lot. I saw them a couple weeks ago and they are one of the better high school teams I have watched play in awhile. They have it all size, speed, coaching. The amount of athletes they have on the field at one time is very impressive.

Scott has impressed me more than Johnson Central this year. I'll take Scott in a mild upset at home. That place will be rocking!

Wow! 70 votes in and this thing is neck and neck. Hopefully the game lives up to the hype. JC has not faired well in the past against NKy teams on the road. Hopefully they can that trend tonight on the road as underdogs. Good luck to both teams and safe travels to everyone making the trip North tonight.

I have seen JC and they are a hard nose club. I am not sure about Scott, but if they can stop the run heavy JC, sure they beat them... But Scott better jump on them fast cause if they fall behind, JC will milk that clock till its creamed. LOL

One of the things that has helped CovCath and HHS in years past against JC is having played them a few times. They may be a one dimensional run only team, but that belly series that they run is hard to defend. Assignment football is a must.

 

You can only learn so much by watching the films. Having the experience of coaching and playing against that offense is very important in stopping it. I think Scott struggles to stop JC. Hope I'm wrong.
