November 8, 201510 yr Futurecoach nailed it . And the Jones that led them last year isn't the jones that playing this year . And Ohio looks way less threatening in the pass game compared to last year . The entire team is not playing at the level they did last year . The lucky thing for ohio is they had 9 scrimmages to start the year . Turd after turd after turd , playing zero top ten opponents ( don't even try to say Iowa is a top 10 team as a future opponent) while a team say ALABAMA has had to face 3 top ten 10 teams already. One team has a had a grueling bruising schedule while the other has kicked back , experimented , coasted , and used 80 % of the schedule to prepare for the last 20% . Truth .

Please tell me those Top 10 teams Alabama has played? Just because every SEC team that throws their helmet on the field gets ranked by the AP doesn't mean they are top 10. Ole Miss and Texas AM suck, and it's been shown as the season goes on. I've been saying all year wait until LSU plays someone, far too one dimensional. LF looked like Herschel Walker vs Syracuse and Eastern Michigan. Congrats. By year end that LSU team will probably end up being the only top 20 team they play, although because Auburn was top 5 to start the season they will get counted by SEC fan boy.
November 8, 201510 yr At the time they played them # 20 Wisc #15 Ole Miss # 8 Georgia # 9 Texas AM and # 2 LSU , 5 ranked teams , 3 in the top ten when they played . Next week # 20 Miss St . That's 3 ranked teams in the first 9 weeks or a 1/3 of their schedule . And I imagine somehow the guy that supports ohio is going to explain how them playing 9 turds so far is actually fair . Funny you mention Lsu finally playing someone . Coming from an Ohio fan that's pure gold !!!!
November 8, 201510 yr Alabama's defense is built to stop pro style offenses. What they are not built for is spread/single wing power offenses that are designed to use what defenders are taught against them. IMO....OSU wins!

Do I really need to shoot holes in all the "turds" you just mentioned? Arkansas is all I need. Same team that could only score 6 against Toledo is scoring 50 a clip now that they are playing these antiquated SEC teams.

I still think OSU and Alabama are essentially back to UF Meyer and Saban Bama, it's going to go back and forth every year.

I hope so...college football needs them to be at the top and beat on each other at the end every year. Much more interesting than Baylor vs Clemson on a National level, even though that would be a fun game too.
November 8, 201510 yr Hopefully we'll get to find out. Until then, don't you guys get tired of this same old conversation.

Agreed, Saban and Meyer are the two best coaches in college football .... period. They recruit better than anyone and out coach any and everyone they play. When a team beats Bama or OSU, the reason is not the coaching.
November 8, 201510 yr Guru how much money does OSU generate on this board being the center of attention? 5-10k?  Well which QB would OSU use this time 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th string? and all would probably win. :sssh:  You said that last year and looked foolish then too.Yep, of course there were a lot of others as well.

All Buckeye fans realize that, I think most Bama fans also realize it.
