Men - Pedicures?

Featured Replies

Recently I have gotten a couple of pedicures. Wow, was I surprised how nice it was. This old guy doesn't have to bend down to cut toenails. Won't have to again. I loved it. Any other guys get them and I don't care if I have to give my "man card" up.

Hells yeah I get pedicures. Every guy/gal should. Being a runner it is a necessity. At a minimum I go once every other month, but prefer monthly.

I haven't but seems like a really good thing to me.

It is not a man card violation. I get them as well. Only do them about 3 times a year. Need to get there more often.

I've never had a pedicure. Sometimes I think I would like to, then I decide not to.

Girlfriend, we need to plan an outing in the 'Ville and get some pampering! You'd love it!

Same. Never had a pedicure ever.

Took my 87 yr old dad to the podiatrist. He clipped dad's toenails. So yeah, I guess men get pedicures?

I do, but go about 2 hours away from where I live. Don't want the state of my feet to end up being discussed on Topix in my town.

Never had one. I'd be more likely to get a manicure. Could probably use both.

My standard operation procedure is to let fingernails and toenails get a little long, then bite/tear/cut them down way too short, then hating it for 48 hours, then let 'em grow out again. Rinse & repeat.

It's rather embarrassing to admit, but I have the most awful nails in the history of the world on both my hands and feet.

I've been a compulsive nail biter my entire life, and to make matters worse I mindlessly pick at my toenails with my ugly fingernails while watching TV only making them look hideous as well.

It seems as though getting them to ever grow normally would be merely impossible even if I did stop my crazy nasty habits. Hard telling as I've never once in my life given my nails a chance to find out.

I've had friends jokingly ask me if I use "Lee Press On Stubs" as fingernails, or possibly a product called Gnarly Gnails.

If my fingernails didn't look bad enough, I also have the skin disorder Psoriasis all over my knuckles. Needless to say when in certain company my embarrassment will have me doing everything I can possible to hide my hands. I see cruddy defects on others, so there's no doubt that people take notice of the cruddy defects on me.

I could probably be a hand model, but for all the wrong reasons. They likely could use my hands for medical science reasons showing either the effects of Psoriasis or compulsive nail biting.

I fairly regularly put peroxide on my nails to avoid infection. Years ago before doing that I once had to go to Emergency to have my finger lanced to drain the infection that was caused by me biting my nails and infection setting in, and the wound closing up full of infection. That's pretty bad...huh?

When in public I do a fairly decent job of presenting myself as a clean cut dude, but don't look too close or else you'll see some of the ugliest nails that you've ever seen in your life.

I'm 51 and have had these bad habits for as long as I can remember. When I do it I'm not even aware that I'm doing it. I wonder at times if I'll ever get it together and stop.

I have been getting manicures and pedicures for years as I have a daughter in law who is in the business. Pedicures were a real plus before my hip replacement as reaching my right foot was more than a little challenging.

Never had one. I'd be more likely to get a manicure. Could probably use both.

My fingernails stay bitten down to the nub, manicure would be a waste of money.

Toenails a whole different ball game, caveman-like. Reminds me of Dumb and Dumber scene where they were using a sander, lol.
