First Democrat Debate

Who won?

Bernie defending HRC was interesting.

I find it very interesting that the party of diversity has the field that it does.

America has changed so much in my lifetime that a socialist and a person who is being investigated for what amounts to treason is viable candidates for a party.

I thought it was funny how they candidates claimed that the debate centered around issues and not name calling like "those republicans." I pretty sure that a lot of time was spent bashing the republican party.

I was actually impressed by Webb.

I'll just say this before I leave this thread to those who follow the party of hate.

Joke all you want, but the republican candidates should be very worried, heck it goes beyond that, as there may be no hope for a republican candidate. A candidate for the speaker of the house admits that the "committee" is a political witch hunt. Then one of the lead investigators was fired for attempting to keep the committee on track to find answers on how to make sure Bengazi doesn't happen again, but he saw that the committee left what the purpose was and went right after what they see as a political threat.

Thank you Donald Trump, you brought out the worse of the Republican Party and agenda. ;)

What the heck is that?

From the debate -

Your biggest enemy?

Lincoln Chafee: Coal lobby

Martin O'Malley: NRA

Hillary Clinton: NRA, Health Insurance, Iranians

Bernie Sanders: Wall Street

Jim Webb: Killing the enemy solider that threw a grenade at me

Who won?

The only people who believe this are the far right in this country, who, by the way, are well-represented on these squawk boards. Kevin McCarthy's comments have emasculated the congressional inquiry by declaring the intent of the investigative panel was to lower Mrs. Clinton's poll numbers.

I feel the desperation in our liberals' posts. They're beginning to see what the republicans and independents have been seeing for a while.

Inspiration or desperation? I received a healthy jolt of energy watching the debate last night. Part of this was because this debate was such a contrast to the GOP's ratings-driven Donald Trump reality-show clown circus.

I didn't see it but it sounds like this debate had much more substance than the initial R debates. Once the R field gets narrowed down to 3 or 4 they'll get much better (I hope).

You do understand you just supported my statement, right?

No, you probably don't.

Enjoy your jolt of energy while the country laughs. Or weeps.

If Hillary were not a candidate for President, would there still be an investigation of her emails? This will be dropped immediately after the election. Your tax dollars at work!

Yes, more substance than the GOP debates. Anderson Cooper kept things moving, and five on the stage much better than 10 for those keeping score at home. If Trump or Cruz or Huckabee are in the final four or five, the GOP debates will remain bogged down, since this is about personalities as well as numbers.

Interesting how Webb took the opposite of most D's stance on gun control.

Can I "like" this more than once? Great post!
