I don't believe there is a clear cut numer one player in the 10th...that player should be a 20-10 guy....

Jake Ohmer would be my #1 to start the season! I do think Mr.Wilson will have a very good year but I just don't see him keeping up with the scoring pace of a few others...

If Wilson doesn't score big, Campbell County will never win the region...

Player of the year isn't who leads the region in scoring. POY may not be Wilson, but his presence in the paint will stop and alter many shots. Add in rebounds and blocked shots, he will be a serious contender IMO

Jerryd Jones went to several years of elementary school in Montgomery Co and all of middle school In MoCo.

If Mason County has as much success this season as some people this way feel they could, look for Antwavon "Pig" Williams to be a serious contender for 10th region POY. Not saying he is the favorite by any means, but I think he will definitely be in the conversation at the end of the season.

I disagree. Jones came to GRC when MoCo ws firing coaches left and right. Now that they have a stable coach ( it seems) he decided to go back home to Moco. See below post on him attending MoCo before.

I beleive that Davis has family in Paris which is why he is going there. Both players transferred before school was out last year.

Look for Blake Pedigo this season from GRC. He will be a sophomore and is around 6'4-6'6 and should fill in the post position. I know we had a really good Freshman team last year. They will need experience at the varsity level, but could be a contender by the end of the season.

Don't b surprised if Paris shoots up the rankings. The core of the squad is playing football rite now...the success they are having has helped mature these kids. There is no other team in this region that has a one-two punch like Garrard/Wells. Y Wells isn't on top 10 rankings I don't know. Backcourt is loaded w yungstas that have developed. The leadership and playmaking ability from GRC transfer Davis will add to this lethal and athletic squad. Looking to shock the region. #ParisPr1de

Paris Greyhounds will shock the region. Ultra quick backcourt...best one-two punch in region Garrard/Wells. Y Wells isn't on preseason list is puzzling. The core of hoops squad is playing football...w the success they are having they are maturing and once they get in hoops shapes they will b hard to handle. #ParisPr1de

Jones not being on list is becuz last year at GRC it seemed to b turmoil and he could never really find his niche. Should improve immensely at MOCO but jury is still out becuz he has to once again find his niche. Y Wells wasn't on preseason list is mind blowing. He thoroughly outplayed a couple of guys that are rated ahead of him. Should b an awesome season.

Very Raw...working w him as we speak. We all kno...you can't teach size. If he gives anything from the defensive end he will help. Paris has Enuff scoring

Really think pig is by far the best defensive player in the region, if he shoots the ball like he did towards the end of the season last year he will be extremely tough to stop.
