Excellent Democratic debate from Las Vegas. More spirited than I anticipated.

Bernie wouldn't fight in the war, but he can vote to start one.

Yeah! How dare Bernie Sanders oppose a war that a majority of people see as a mistake! Vietnam was a disaster. I seriously doubt Sanders is the only man that sees one war as wrong and another as right.

Clinton and Sanders just shook hands....and smiled at one another. So, when the dust settles will he be her VP choice?

No he has the right to declare conscientious objector status, many people fought and died so he could do this.

 

I just find it odd to then want a job where you could be sending others to die in a war.

I see what you're sayng. It is an interesting perspective. Maybe he feels he could prevent sending troops to fight what he feels is unnecessary.

I didn't see one second of the debate but from what I gather Anderson Cooper did a great job as the moderator.

If glossing over the email issue and barely spending any time on it makes you impressed I'd say AC did a fine job . Its mentioned , Bernie says " we spend too much time on this " the democrats in the crowd reach near orgasm , and that's the end of it . Maybe I'm wrong , maybe Americans are so dang stupid they don't care their Sec of State was being loose with data that could harm or weaken us . And then lied about it numerous times . That response from Sanders tells me he is there as a side show clown. Not the least bit interested in winning or he goes after her on the issue . As it stood , the ole " nothing to see here" crowd won out .

My gut feel is that the email issue is not a big deal across the US. It's a HUGE deal to the Rs. I just don't think it's a huge deal in Peoria.

 

So how much time should be devoted to it if it's , correctly or incorrectly, not a high priority to the voters?
