I think the email issue is a big deal across the US and is a real reason Hillary's numbers have been spiraling downward. Honesty, integrity, good decision making, following federal regulations, perhaps violating federal law, transparency, etc. Some voters still care about these things. Apparently not the Dems though.

She acted foolishly and has admitted as such. But with most stories that do not have a strong smoking gun, the longer it plays out the more people will think it was all a fabricated tale. If something egregious is released then all bets are off.

No, because others like him that disagreed with the war still did their duty. Like it or not the draft was the law of the land at the time and when called lots of men that didn't agree with the war went. But I guess it was the liberal way then too, only follow laws you agree with.

That makes no sense. So because he didn't agree with the war and applyed for conscientious objectors status that makes him a coward? You know how dumb that sounds? Hey go serve in a disastrous war that you don't agree with. Makes perfect sense.

How did that go with all the Vietnam-aged current US Senators and Representatives that used their connections to avoid military service? Are they all liberals too?

My gut feel is that the email issue is not a big deal across the US. It's a HUGE deal to the Rs. I just don't think it's a huge deal in Peoria.

 

So how much time should be devoted to it if it's , correctly or incorrectly, not a high priority to the voters?

 

It's a big deal to me. It's a big deal to most of my friends who are of mixed political affiliations. Just shows me they all made a deal not to discuss it in a controlled environment. For me it speaks to her character which in my opinion isn't much. I don't want either Clinton or Sanders within a half mile of the White House. I just have a problem with a leftist and socialist disguising themselves with the word "progressive". And once again I tell myself I'm not getting into these political threads, and here I am.

As far as needing a smoking gun or video showing HC mishandling classified info that could harm our nations security I think some of the readers here just don't care . Sure , as Sec of State she held national issues on a unsecure server . Who cares , she's not a Republican . And that my friends is how we all get the Govt we deserve .

I actually have females in my office who say they will vote for Clinton strictly because she is a woman. THAT is what we have become. The hell with facts and stands on issues facing the USA, they just want to vote for her because she looks like them.

I think it is incredibly serious. I was just iterating that unless something released within the emails catches the attention of the public, it will most likely fall on deaf ears. The longer it drags with nothing of substance being released, the more it gives legitimacy to the "it is just a witch hunt" crowd.
