There will be a Froshmore championship on Oct 29th. Teams and location TBA. As noted on an earlier thread, there will not be a Freshman championship.

 

Who are the froshmore teams? Is this the small schools that are now allowing some sophomores to play on their freshman teams?

With Aiden Camp back Conner will be a much improved team.

Haven't seen Cooper play yet but they play better by the end of the year. SK and Boone are more in the developing mode with SK needing experience and Boone needing more players.IMO

Parents should start a "Adult" beverage drink list....as far as snacks with those beverages, who cares!

VOR, pretty sure Holy Cross, Lloyd, NewCath all play sophomores. So if Beechwood beats New Cath on Thursday and remains unbeaten....they can't play in the Froshmore championship because they only play freshmen and 8th graders? Just curious.

No, I am not saying that. I was just curious which teams play sophomores. Beechwood is playing freshmen only and it appears they are the only small school division team that is still freshman only. That makes this season even more of an accomplishment for Beechwood if they are beating froshmore teams with a freshmen only team.

Sorry VOR, wasn't trying to imply you were saying that, was more of a hypothetical question. I have been reading on BGP that there are no freshmen championship games this year at any level....seems anti climactic.

So Beechwood only played Covcath in the upper school division? So I know they beat Covcath 14-12. So does that make them better than say Highlands or Campbell? Maybe was just a good match up for Beechwood an being there only game they really have to get up for all yr. I think both Highlands an Campbell could beat Beechwood imo!
