Since there is no championship game, the Beechwood freshman team has an open date. Any big schools interested in playing them?

No but to RANK someone #1 off a 1 win is a joke! An just cause you have almost 20,000 posts as a member doesn't mean what your saying is right!!! Now that is sad!!

Not at all, but Beechwood dropped down to the smaller school sch this year, and now that they have a good team, they want to play the Cov. Cath's. and well that's about it ( this season ). P.S. Highlands, Ryle and Campbell County would beat Beechwood freshman this year, but let's pick and choose who we want to play, and not Sch. NCC, CC, Ryle, Dixie, SK, Cooper, each and every year, just whenever it's convenient for us, and us only. Just go back and look at Beechwood's freshman sch. the past 5 years, you'll see exactly what I mean,( play up, play down ) again, it's the reality, congrats on a great season this year, (LOL)

You don't know anything, it is obvious, last year the NKY Coaches association made it a point to bring freshmen football back to the smaller schools. So Beechwood, a single A school, played in the small school division, with Holy Cross, Scott, Lloyd, Holmes, and NewCath, they did play one large school last year and it was CovCath...makes sense its a local rivalry. You may have noticed that Beechwood is the only team on that list that is single A, and probably the only team that played only freshmen and 8th graders, as most of the other played freshmen and sophomores to fill out their roster. This year Beechwood played in the small school, freshmen or froshmore, league, from the beginning. And no, when they won it all 4 years ago, there was no small school league, it was all the big boys on the block.

Like I said in another post, Beechwood dispatched Conner in their scrimmage, wasn't even close, and have dispatched all their 2A and 4A opponents with relative ease, I don't know if they would be undefeated, but I am pretty darn sure they would be in the top one or two.

Well Campbell stepped up to play highlands for a 2nd time this yr. Since dixie dropped freshman this yr. Didn't see Beechwood jumping on that offer! Just saying!:idunno:

For the record for the Neer fan who keeps saying NCC, they play them tonight. They also beat Lloyd 29-6 and Lloyd won the big school middle school league last year. They also beat Scott by like 50 or more and Scott isn't exactly a small school. They have been trying to get a game with Simon Kenton as well. Lastly they knew they had a really good team before the season started, so I don't know what happened with the schedule. I also hope they will start playing a tougher varsity schedule in the coming years.

Most if not ALL the Bigger schools already have there sch. made up at the beginning of the season, and have agreed to play up, each and every year. Please tell me another team that jumps back in forth from the big school Sch. to the small school sch. each and every year.

BTW, CC is playing Dixie's freshman today, hearing Dixie has only around 15 Freshman or so, but is still trying to play the bigger schools when able, not sch. smaller school, just because, just sayin Beechwood.

The hope would be to schedule another one of the top level freshman teams.

2012 / 2013 only big school freshmen, Beechwood played both years, only school below 5A to have a team play freshmen those two years. 2014/2015, Beechwood played in small school once it was reintroduced, doubt it will be around long though, Newport could not field a team and Holy Cross just wants to play Juniors.

Lloyd, and Scott both ARE NOT in the Big School Freshman League, and haven't been in years, again just the reality.
