So Beechwood only played Covcath in the upper school division? So I know they beat Covcath 14-12. So does that make them better than say Highlands or Campbell? Maybe was just a good match up for Beechwood an being there only game they really have to get up for all yr. I think both Highlands an Campbell could beat Beechwood imo![/b

So I assume Highlands played with their best player too right? Make no mistake- Cov Cath beat Highlands. The "no calls" went both ways. Take off the glasses and you would admit as much. But hey- it's Frosh ball.

The NO CALL led to a TD to make it a 2 score game. Instead of the Birds being inside the 20 and driving to take lead for a possible win. Yes Covcath won congrats!! Just stating I don't feel Beechwood would go undefeated if they played all the big schools was my main point.

Beechwood did scrimmage Connor and beat them 21-0. Only a scrimmage but beechwood looked much better. I don't think Connor passed mid field.

Like I said no matter what kind of lesson your trying to teach here on BGP. I don't think they (Beechwood) goes undefeated! Sry if that offends whoever.. I'm just saying they beat CovCath! Still haven't played the rest.

Not sure about Wade. They did have a decent RB. It was at the first scrimmage of the year. I know that Camp (QB/LB) did most of the carries and nearly all of the tackles. That kid is a stud. Hopefully he doesn't end up at Cov Cath.... him and McGinness would be a force.

Who cares? Beechwood is good and proved they can play with the big schools. Whether this team would go undefeated against all the big schools (as others have done in the past) doesn't really matter one way or the other - except maybe for people who plan to spend the rest of their life bragging about that undefeated freshman football team.

NO, Beechwood shouldn't get to play in any freshman championship game, unless it's in the small school division, because each and every year Beechwood picks and chooses to play up or down when it best meets their needs. Either play up at the start of the season, or down, but once the season starts you play the level you have chosen. They do this every year. Once the season gets going and Beechwood is having a good season, they want to play for the Big School Championship. I say NO! Next year start playing in the Big School Division from the start.

Maybe Im just one of those rare people that cares who won and who lost a game or a season. I still remember my freshman year at Bellevue in 1966. Highlands spoiled our perfect season the last game of the year.

Beechwood appears to be the best of NKY this year. Congratulations.

Maybe they develop their players at practice instead of in a game and coach that winning is better than losing.
